The Year In Review

About this time last year, a lot of people were waking up with alcohol, cigar and/or chocolate fountain induced hangovers. It's gone by somewhat fast, but the 13th marked one year of marriage for Ben and I.
The past year has been a good one for us. After our first honeymoon to Florida, we came back just in time to start the rush of the holidays. Thanksgiving in New Albany, Christmas in Richmond and New Year's in Chicago. Shewww! I got tired of lugging around those albums with all 500 million wedding pictures. For those that missed them, you can go here to check them out. After the holidays were done, we could finally relax.
Then, in Febuary we decided to go out the day after Valentine's Day and totalled the truck. Mind you, we didn't decide to total the truck, that was just bad timing.
In March we celebrated actually living in our house for a year.
April came with the standard April Fools Day joke that some family members actually took seriously. Also in April Ben went out to DC to run the Cherry Blossom Run with Stutz and Irwin. May included the running of the Indy Mini Marathon in which Ben finished not as well as he would have liked, but at least he finished which is more than I could say!
In June we took a road trip up to Michigan with many wineries in between. Lots of wine and beer!
In July we held the second annual Summer Duck Plunge. Good times! Except for when Ben cut his wrist, but other than that...
In August we went to Germany as our second and "official" honeymoon. It took a lot of time to plan, I think I started getting the deets together at the first of the year. I could go on and on about how great it was, but I won't. Just know that a good time was had by all.
We had the sixth annual HalloBean this year also. Good times again!
Which brings us back to where we started this blog adventure. November 14th, 2005. It's been a good year with many more to come.
I heart Ben!
