Boycott Winter With Me

Something weird happened this morning. I was getting ready in my usual fashion, I had picked out a red Cisco (not the "Thong Song" guy) polo and a pair of khaki pants. Decided to pull my hair back (since I was getting a haircut this afternoon) and was applying my usual, minimal makeup when I realized that I had just acheived one of the best "smoky eye" looks ever! I stood back and observed the look some more and I just couldn't believe how good it looked. A bit much for work and the way I was dressed yes, but this doesn't happen very often for me. So I couldn't just wipe it away! Instead I changed outfits. I traded in those khakis and polo for a skirt and sleevless top and some CUTE strappy shoes. Trust me, I looked good. A far cry from the usual for me anymore.

So anyway, once I was out the door and on my way to work, I heard that we were supposed to have a high of 63 today--perfect! It was then that I decided that I was done wearing sweaters, heavy pants and the like and that, at that moment, I was boycotting winter.

Bring on the warm weather, tank tops, shorts, skirts and sandals! Who's on board?
