Busy
So many things have gone on in the past few days; don't know where to begin!
I guess first would be my back. Last Wednesday I twisted/bent weird while doing something mundane at work and messed up my back in a way I've never known! I couldn't stand upright, I couldn't sit, I ended up crawling into our conference room at work and lying on the floor where I called Ben to come a get me because there was no way I could drive. And, being the good husband he is, he came to my rescue and drove me home. I gave myself until 6pm to see if the pain was better and when it wasn't we went to the Urgent Care facility down the road. Ben took a couple pictures of signs in the exam room and I got a shot and a few prescriptions. The doctor said it sounded like I had slipped a disc, but without any x-rays there's no way to know for sure. He put me on bed rest for the next day and I was to follow up with my regular doctor. Thursday was boring; I laid around, took pills, watched TV and read. On Friday I went in to my doctor to follow up and she wanted me to get 3 or 4 epidural shots that day to help relieve the pressure. I'm not a big fan of shots, let alone shots to my spine, so I politely told her that I'd rather wait a little longer and see what this week's worth of medicine will do. She was hesitant, but agreed. Right now, the pain is still there, but it's not as bad; I still have two days worth of meds, so we'll see.
Over the weekend my Dad was sworn in as president of the Shrine Club back home, so Ben and I went up for that. There's nothing like having back pain and sitting in a car for 3 hours! Everthing went well, it was nice to see the family and catch up. It was weird to watch my sister get hit on from guys that I went to school with (remember I'm 7 years older).
When I have time again, I've got a blog lined up about some mice that I'll have to post.

Please go see: Dr. Steven Neeley, Eastern Blvd. in Clarksville.
280-8420.
He is SO good, SO careful and is a blessing in my life. He also nursed Brad back to health at Christmas time.
But, you will need x-rays and possibly an MRI to really know what's going on.

ss, which was teh worst pain, the epidural or ankle surgery?
My experience with epidurals is 2st hand. However, I can tell you without hesitation that the pain of an epidural pales in comparison to labor pain. Teh wif never noticed the needle going in for the epidural.
