BATZ

No, not BETZ--BATZ as in Brew At The Zoo. This is the end of summer event that has become a ritual for a handful of us for the last 4 years. The usual suspects were there, me (duh), Bean (double duh), TP, Caleb & Annie, new editions to the mix were Annie's parents and M1.

Although I'm not sure, I think Annie's dad had a good time, it was hard to tell at times. Her mom enjoyed herself as well and M1 concurred. I'm told that Rikey and her friends were there, they looked like sluts to me, but M1 enjoyed pointing them out.
There was lots of beer, of which I sampled, lots of food of which I sampled even more and lots of wine of which I did not partake in.

My favorite food item had to be the chicken wraps--they have been there for at least the last three years and I remember them not only for their high quality, but also because the people handing out the "samples" practically force you to take them! They are good though and the "sample" is at least a quarter, if not half, of a whole wrap--good portions! I had some good chicken pot stickers and cheese pizza. I did try beers, but none of them stood out for blogging purposes.

Did I mention the BATZ actually sold out? Oh I guess I just did. Well it did, so maybe you should start planning right now for next year.
